you can mow over them any time of the year and they will grow back...if you mow over them now you will see them again at the first of spring
Reply:Phlox need to be cut or mowed in the fall so they would not need to be disturbed in the spring. They surely will come back with more stems than before. If they are more bushy now, it is time to divide and have more than one plant.
